Abstract
Cancer and herbs useful in treatment of different types of Cancer
are well known since time immemorial in India. Hundreds of herbs
and thousands of herbal combinations are in use by Traditional Healers
as well as other Traditional experts. Efforts have been made to
document this ancient knowledge but still major part of it is in
undocumented form. Through Ethnobotanical surveys, author has collected
information about thousands of traditional herb and insect based
formulations. These formulations are not mentioned in world literatures
including ancient Indian literatures but still in use in Traditional
Healing. Present report is an effort by an individual to document
this traditional medicinal knowledge in its original form. In present
report, author has discussed over 35,000 formulations used in treatment
of different types of cancer with details. This report is written in
simple language so that even layman can understand it. This report is
an effort of a decade long surveys and documentation work.
For Cancer prevention from age of 1 to 40 years,
the Traditional Healers suggest rigorous health schedules for (any) two
years. Interested natives are kept in strict supervision. Two years of
healthy living protects human body from different diseases including
Type II Diabetes and Cancer up to many years. It develops enough
natural resistance inside body. In early days warriors were adopting
this two years schedule. It can be adopted up to 40 years as mentioned
earlier and repeated as per instructions of Traditional Healers. It is
claimed that it prevents cancer. This report gives details of this
ancient practice. Such practice of cancer prevention is not known in
rest of the world. Based on his experiences author has added special
comments and suggested modifications according to modern life styles.
In this report much emphasis has been given on methods through
which these formulations are used. Thousands of pictures and film
strips help the readers to understand the methods.
